South Lakes Housing welcomes tenants from Lune Valley Rural Housing Association

South Lakes Housing (SLH) today welcomes tenants from Lune Valley Rural Housing Association as part of a deal which will see SLH provide management and maintenance services under a 10-year Managing Agent partnership.

SLH will carry out repairs, collect rents, upgrade homes, manage tenancies, let empty homes and help resolve anti-social behaviour as part of the contract. They will also report performance on these matters and other finance and governance items every quarter to the Lune Valley Board.

John Mansergh, Director of Business Assurance said This is a win-win deal for both organisations we both face similar rural challenges and, as we operate in similar geographies, so the partnership will make for more efficient use of resources. We aim to provide a good quality and value for money service to tenants, alongside improved accountability to the Lune Valley Board.
