South Lakes Housing is seeking planning permission to redevelop a former garage site to develop a 100% affordable housing scheme.
The 5 affordable properties will consist of:
- 5× 3 Bed Houses
All properties include features such as double off road parking, garden space, family bathroom and downstairs cloakroom.
A planning application was submitted at the end of February 2019, a decision is expected by June 2019*.
The site is located 1.25km south east of Kendal in southern Cumbria. Situated to the west of the Castle Drive and Castle Close the site comprises a cleared former garage site.
Based in the attractive market town of Kendal and on the doorstep of two glorious national parks, the Lake District National Park, which recently gained World Heritage status and the Yorkshire Dales.
