SLH wants to enable as many tenants and leaseholders as possible to get involved in influencing decisions about services and there are lots of different ways in which you can have your say.
Tenants’ Committee scrutinises all major decisions affecting policies and services to tenants. A leaseholder is also represented on the Committee.

Any tenant or leaseholder who is willing to give their views on the services they receive is invited to become involved. Members select from a ‘menu’ of involvement options, including; mystery shopping, scrutiny panel, complaints panel or estate walkabouts.
SLH supports existing and new residents’ associations with things like training, grants, advisory support and access to office equipment. If you are interested in setting up a residents’ association then please contact firstname.lastname@example.org
Become a Shareholder
The SLH Board reviewed its Shareholding Scheme in September 2018 and agreed to ‘freeze’ membership and admit only new Board Directors. This is to ensure that those engaged at the fullest level become new shareholders. This will be reviewed alongside the Social Housing Green Paper debate about accountability and active engagement.
