Heating partnership wins top award
South Lakes Housings (SLH) heating partnership with Rogerson Homeserve has been awarded a Gold Award at the Morgan Lambert Gas Safety Awards 2016. The team collected the accolade at the Annual Gas Safety Conference on 2nd June 2016.
Rogerson Homeserve has worked in partnership with SLH since 2012 and the contract includes gas servicing and other services such as testing carbon monoxide detectors and smoke alarms. In the last 12 months SLH has recorded 100% performance for the amount of homes with an up-to-date gas safety record. Morgan & Lambert is the social housing industry most experienced gas audit provider and they carry out audit checks of South Lakes Housing to ensure that the Association maintains compliance with the regulatory standards which includes an annual gas service for each home. The award for excellence recognises commitment to gas safety.
Ian Mitchell, Compliance Manager at SLH said: This is a brilliant achievement for SLH and Rogersons. We didnt think we were going to win but we are delighted to receive recognition from the industry specialists that we delivering a top service for our tenants.
