Information on Direct Debit Payments

 

As at the 1^st April 2024, South Lakes Housing are implementing a 7.7% rent increase. Customers will have received a letter advising of this and the changes to rent payments moving forward.

 

As you may be aware, this year is unique, in that it comprises 53 weeks as opposed of the usual 52. This additional week has implications for your rent payments, if you are paying on a calendar monthly basis. Direct Debits have been amended over a 53 week calculation and manual payments should be calculated over 53 weeks also.

 

All Direct Debits are now calculated to reflect the 53 week year and we have let customers know about this change.
