South Lakes Housing Celebrates TPAS Accreditation
South Lakes Housing is delighted to announce that it has achieved TPAS Accreditation, recognising the organisation’s commitment to ensuring residents are at the heart of decision-making and service improvement.
The accreditation is an important milestone and provides independent recognition of the work taking place across South Lakes Housing to listen to residents, act on feedback and ensure customer insight helps shape services.
To mark the achievement, South Lakes Housing welcomed Jenny Osbourne, Chief Executive of TPAS, to a recent Board meeting to formally present the accreditation award to the organisation’s Chair and Chief Executive.
The award reflects the dedication of colleagues, residents and Board Members who work together to ensure resident voices influence decisions at every level of the organisation.

At South Lakes Housing, resident voice plays a key role in shaping services, policies, and future priorities. From consultations and resident groups to surveys and feedback opportunities, residents help inform the decisions that affect their homes and communities.
The organisation remains committed to working in partnership with residents to deliver meaningful engagement, co-creation, and continuous improvement.

“We are delighted to have received TPAS Accreditation. It reflects the hard work, commitment, and dedication of the team in ensuring that the resident voice is heard at every level of the organisation.
As a Board, we take resident voice seriously. At the end of each Board meeting, we reflect on whether the resident voice has been heard throughout our discussions. This helps ensure that residents remain at the heart of decision-making and that feedback leads to real change and improvement.
I am incredibly proud of the team and everything they have achieved. It was also a pleasure to welcome Jenny to our Board meeting to present the award in person and celebrate this success with us.”
