South Lakes Housing Appoints New Supply Partners to Strengthen Repairs Service

South Lakes Housing, Travis Perkins Managed Services and City Electrical FactorsSouth Lakes Housing (SLH) is delighted to announce that it has appointed national builders merchant Travis Perkins Managed Services and electrical wholesaler City Electrical Factors (CEF) as its new materials supply partners, supporting the continued delivery of high-quality repairs and maintenance services for residents.

The appointments follow a comprehensive procurement exercise undertaken through the Procurement Hub Framework, which identified Travis Perkins Managed Services and CEF as the best providers to support SLH’s future requirements.

The new contracts form part of SLH’s commitment to delivering efficient, reliable and value-for-money services for residents. The partnership will support the organisation’s in-house repairs team by improving access to materials, strengthening supply chain resilience and helping colleagues’ complete repairs more effectively.

The move is aligned with SLH’s Your Home, Our Community business strategy, which focuses on quality homes, quality services and quality services across it’s 1,000 square miles across South Cumbria, North Lancashire and parts of the Yorkshire Dales National Park.

A detailed implementation programme is already underway to ensure a smooth transition to the new arrangements. The procurement exercise confirmed both suppliers as leading providers, offering competitive pricing and strong operational proposals to support SLH’s long-term objectives.

The new contracts are expected to support improvements in productivity, value for money and service delivery, helping SLH maintain and improve residents’ homes across the region.
