We are pleased to announce that Pam Mastrantonio has been appointed as South Lakes Housing’s new Chief Executive, following the announcement of Cath Purdy’s retirement plans.
Pam was selected after a rigorous selection process involving members of the South Lakes Housing Board and a Stakeholder Panel of colleagues and customer representatives. She showcased her passion for the sector and alignment with South Lakes Housing’s values and commitment to quality customer service.
Pam joins us from Housing 21, where she served as Managing Director of Retirement Living. She brings extensive experience in various housing roles, including general needs, supported, and older person housing. Pam is dedicated to resident engagement and supporting healthy tenancies.
Ian Munro, Chair of South Lakes Housing Board, stated: “Whilst it was always going to be hard replacing the excellent Chief Executive we have had in Cath Purdy, I think we have been very fortunate in finding Pam to lead SLH.
South Lakes Housing is proud of the work we do in maintaining our homes, building new ones and supporting our communities and Pam will be the right person to take us onto our next stage.”

Pam will join South Lakes Housing in August.
