SLH Senior Leadership Team Visits Hallgarth Estate in Kendal to meet residents and debut SLH’s new electric vans!!

Members of South Lakes Housing’s Senior Leadership Team visited SLH’s Hallgarth Estate in Kendal on Tuesday to meet residents, see homes and neighbourhoods first-hand and take a test drive in one of SLH’s new 100% electric vans.

The visit formed part of an ongoing monthly programme to make leadership more visible across our communities, giving the SLH senior leadership team the opportunity to spend time in neighbourhoods across our 1,000-square-mile area and hear directly from residents.  

The visit reflects South Lakes Housing’s new business strategy “Your Home, Our Community” and place based housing model, which focus on understanding local needs, listening to residents and working with partners to strengthen the places where people live.
