As well as a wealth of experience on both governance and operations, Claire brings a passion for working with residents and their communities to provide the affordable, safe and secure homes people need to thrive and build healthy and happy lives. Her work with consultancy 4point2 includes mentoring residents and those with lived experience of social housing who are, or want to become board members.
Claire is the appointed Board Member Responsible for Complaints (MRC – a requirement under the Housing Ombudsman’s Complaint Handling Code). The MRC champions a positive complaints culture, providing independent oversight and assurance to board on complaints handling and ensure complaints lead to real service improvement for residents.
