Job details

We are looking for a talented professional who will have demonstrable experience in leading improvements in either one or all aspects of governance, risk, and corporate compliance.

South Lakes Housing is a G1 rated Association and the Board has recently approved a new risk management strategy and are looking to appoint an experienced risk and governance professional who will embed the new risk register processes and improve reporting across the business.

We would also be interested in hearing from you if you have other expertise, particularly around working with boards and providing assurance around regulatory compliance, driving data protection improvements and policy management. You will also manage a small team of corporate support colleagues so an ability to lead teams and coach others will be desirable.

Experience of the social housing sector is beneficial but not a barrier. Although a commitment to shared values and knowledge about how the sector now operates is essential.
