THE ROLE

The role of the Finance Business Partner (Treasury & Development) will provide a link between the Development and Finance Teams. The post will be accountable for the delivery of a range of financial services and analysis to support the Group’s Development function and be the lead representative of Finance develop a ‘customer first focussed’ approach.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES :

• Partner the Development Team, prepare and complete monthly management accounts and financial forecasts for the Development Team
• Deliver high quality financial support and analysis to key senior internal decision makers
• Support areas such as decision making, budgeting, forecasting, management, and financial accounting services
• Develop and maintain weekly, monthly, and yearly cashflows to ensure management of liquidity
• Provide the funders with accurate and timely financial information and ensure continued loan compliance
• Be responsible for the operation and servicing of bank accounts and loan facilities, managing the relationship with funders and maintaining the Long-Term Financial Plan
• Prepare and ensure timely submission the Quarterly Financial Survey return to the Regulator of Social Housing and contributing to other relevant statutory annual and quarterly returns

THE PERSON

• You will ideally be a fully qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA or CIMA) or be actively studying towards  qualifying
• A natural business partner it is essential you have the ability to communicate complex financial information to non-finance members of the team
• You will have a strong technical grasp to be able to follow regulatory rules for returns and be an advocate for the continuous improvement of finance processes and systems
