We are aiming to make this website accessible by following
certain standards and Government guidelines to ensure that it can
be used by everyone.
The site has been designed to conform to the World Wide Web
Consortium (W3C) Web Accessibility Initiative's 'AA' standard. You

This logo appears on every page to indicate that the page has
been designed to conform to the 'W3C' 'AA' accessibility
standard.
Checking conformance
You can check any page on the site to make sure it conforms to
the standards by clicking on the following logos which appear
at the bottom of every page.
Until February 1 2008 you could click this logo at the bottom
of a page to check via the '
Watchfire/WebXact' site that
the page conformed to the 'W3C' 'AA' accessibility standard. This
was a free service but it has now been taken over by IBM and is no
longer available. A suitable replacement for this service has not
yet been identified.
