How and where can I pay my rent?

 
Your rent is due weekly and is payable in advance. You can pay your rent by the following methods:
 
 
By Post
By posting a cheque or postal order (not cash) along with your rent card to South Lakeland House, Lowther Street, Kendal
Online
 
You can make an online payment of your rent and a wide range of other services including council tax and parking tickets.  Please visit www.southlakeland.gov.uk
Direct Debit

Collection dates available are 12th, 20th or 27th of each month. 

All direct debit payers are automatically entered into a prize draw, which takes place twice yearly once in January and the second draw is made in July.

Allpay Swipe Card Enables you to pay your rent at any post office or allpay, payzone and paypoint outlets in the UK.  Click here to view the places where you can pay rent.
Text payments
Using a mobile phone and debit card (you also need to have an Allpay swipe card) .Visit the Allpayments.text website to register.
 
Touch Tone Telephone payments
To make payments by Debit Card this way please call 0845 050 1734 (calls charged at local rate).  This is a 24 hour service.
