Aids & Adaptation Framework Agreement

In April 2009, South Lakes Housing in partnership with the
Northern Housing Consortium established the first Aids &
Adaptation Framework Agreement for stairlift and bathroom
installations in Britain. Three contractors were selected to
carry out the works under the agreement.
The contractors are as follows:
 |
Rogersons - (Wet Rooms & Bathroom Alterations) |
| |
|
 |
A B Mitchell Developments - (Wet Rooms & Bathroom
Alterations) |
| |
|
 |
Stannah Stairlifts - (Curved & Straight Stairlifts) |
What is a Framework Agreement?
A framework agreement enables South Lakes
Housing to formalise their relationship with the three
contractors by entering into 4 year contracts with them through the
Northern Housing Consortium's bathrooms framework, eliminating the
need to obtain quotations and saving both time and money.
What are the benefits of a Framework Agreement?
Through the Northern Housing Consortium's
contracts, South Lakes Housing are better able to monitor their
contractor performance and have been able to put in their own KPIs
on which they will measure AB Mitchell Developments, Rogersons and
Stannah Stairlifts.
South Lakes Housing aim to speed up the adaptations process
between referral and order to delivery and installation.
Through the framework agreement, South Lakes Housing have already
been able to cut down the timescale for the installation of an
adaptation.
