New Tenancy Agreement and Conditions have been agreed
Work has been going on to review the Council's Secure and
Introductory Tenancy Agreements’ Terms and Conditions. The review
is now complete.
South Lakeland District Council has agreed the revised Tenancy
Agreement and Conditions. Letters are now going out to all Secure
and Introductory tenants.
The three attachments are letter from the
Chief Executive of
South Lakes Housing advising all tenants that there is a Tenancy
Agreement and Conditions.
A formal
Notice of Variation. This Notice varies the conditions of
tenancy from the April 1991 version to the new version which will
come into effect from 1 December 2008. It outlines what the changes
are.
The new Tenancy Agreement and Conditions has been through the
full legal process of consultation. The changeover to the new
agreement, which takes effect from 1 December 2008, is automatic
and there is no need for tenants to sign or return anything.
If you have any enquiries about the letter, the Notice of
Variation, or the new Tenancy Agreement and Conditions, please
