New Tenancy Agreement and Conditions have been agreed
Work has been going on to review the Council's Secure and
Introductory Tenancy Agreements’ Terms and Conditions. The review
is now complete.
South Lakeland District Council has agreed the revised Tenancy
Agreement and Conditions. Letters are now going out to all Secure
and Introductory tenants.
The three attachments are letter from the Chief Executive of South
Lakes Housing advising all tenants that there is a Tenancy
Agreement and Conditions.
A formal Notice of
Variation. This Notice varies the conditions of tenancy
from the April 1991 version to the new version which will come into
effect from 1 December 2008. It outlines what the changes are.
A copy of the new Secure Tenancy Agreement and
Conditions
The new Tenancy Agreement and Conditions has been through the
full legal process of consultation. The changeover to the new
agreement, which takes effect from 1 December
2008, is automatic and there is no need for
tenants to sign or return anything.
