Major Works Agreement
Tenants' Committee members were delighted to welcome
representatives from South Lakes Housing, South Lakeland District
Council and Bramall Construction along to their recent meeting
to sign up to the Major Works Agreement. The Agreement sets
out what standards tenants can expect from the Partnership while
the Decent Homes works being carried out.
What is the Major Works Agreement?
This agreement sets out how tenants will be involved in all
Major Works Programmes and is a commitment to an efficient and
effective working partnership between tenants, residents,
leaseholders, South Lakes Housing (SLH), South Lakeland District
Council (SLDC) and our chosen construction partners.
The agreement will allow and encourage everyone involved to
bring their knowledge and expertise to decision-making and promote
and encourage full participation by tenants and leaseholders in all
aspects of Major Works.
