Housing Transfer set to take place in March 2012
During October and November 2011, tenants took part in a secret
ballot about the Council’s proposal to transfer the ownership and
management of homes to SLH. Two thirds of tenants voted and 84.5%
of tenants voted in support of the change.
The Council agreed on the 15th December 2011 to transfer the
homes to SLH. The transfer is still subject to approval by the
Government but it is hoped that SLH will become a housing
association from 5th March 2012.
